An accredited McGown Rug Hooking Teacher, Susan resides in Oglesby, Texas. She has been designing and teaching various needle arts for more than 25 years. Susan is the owner of Holly Hill Designs, a rug hooking pattern design and hand-painted needlepoint design business, as well as a member of The Association of Traditional Hooking Artists. 

Susan's special interests are #6-#7 cut shaded primitives, color combinations, and pictorials.  She has written and published a dye formula book of colors and swatches, Dyeing For Color.
